"Dry" NMR magnets from Cryogenic Ltd.

Cryogenic Ltd. now offers "dry" magnets for nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, which are cooled by a refrigeration machine and therefore no longer require liquid helium. This saves effort and costs and offers a significantly increased ease of use.

An article on this can be found in WIRED magazine under Cooling MRI magnets without a continuous supply of scarce helium. The Manufacturer also reports on this in the article Liquid helium free MRI machines developed by Cryogenic. All product information can be found on our page under Superconducting Magnets.
